P102: The Role of Heart, Lungs & Blood examines that while coaches don‘t usually have to think about an athlete‘s heart, lungs or blood, optimal performance depends on each functioning when introduced to the rigors of training and competition. At a minimum, a coach needs to understand the impact of heart, lung, and blood health on an athlete‘s success in competition and capabilty for recovery.
This course explains the impact of the heart, lungs and blood on swimming performance.
